For economic reasons it is increasingly popular to start a sunflower oil plant for sunflower oil processing to make cheap sunflower seeds into more valuable and healthy sunflower oils. The sunflower is a distinctive, flowering plant (Helianthus annuus L.), the seeds of which contain a valuable edible oil that contains more Vitamin E than any other vegetable oil. Most sunflower oil is used in food products. The seeds of confection varieties of sunflowers are also sold for human consumption and birdseed.

Some smaller plants are only press-plants and do not apply the step of hexane extraction. This results in higher oil content in the meal. Below are the steps of sunflower oil processing.

Process characteristics

2.solvent extraction phase .

(1)continuous alkali refining shortens contact tome between oil and lye,which reduces oil saponification state,lowers refining consumption,and improves efficiency;

(2)decolorization craft adopts technoloLD of combining premixing and steam mixing bleaching,which improves bleaching efficiency,saves consumption of bleaching clay, and it is simple and convenient to operate ; besides,negative pressure state avoids oxygen in the air from contacting with hot oil,thereby ensuring oil product quality ,inhibiting with hot oil,thereby ensuring oil product quality,inhibiting acid value to rise again,and lowering peroxide value;

(3)physical refining section adopts new type continuous deacidiffication and deodorization craft,which is applicable for vegetable oil of high acid value and low resin content,the actual production proves its most obvious advantages as following: strong deacidiffication ability ,excellent hot bleaching effect,high refining rate ,good oil quality etc.

Advantages of this this production line :

(1) Vacuum evaporation features high efficiency, thorough de-solvation and low solvent consumption in crude oil.

(2) Use the second steam of desolventizer toaster and remaining steam from steam jet pump as the heat source of the first steam, which can save enerLD, reduce the condenser configuration area and save investment.

(3) Due to the low temperature of the steam, the crude oil features ligLD color, good quality and low residual solvent.
